Overview
Access to the Client Details window is via Ribbon on the Contacts tab, and then click on the ‘New/Edit Clients’ option.
The Client Details Window in OPTO is used to access all the client data including static information such as contact details, discounts and categories as well as Dynamic information such as Order History, Jobs, Quotes, Part Invoice History and Contact Relation Management (CRM) notes. In the dynamic section, all records can be opened using drill down methods.
Details Tab
General information including full Company Name, Address, Email Address, A.B.N., Trading Terms, and Personnel Contacts.
Delivery Tab
There are over 100 available lines for alternate delivery and/or invoice addresses – e.g. May be used for multiple locations for a company. The other areas are for Part/Material Group discounts for the client and to attach a folder of the drawings for the client.
Client Info Tab
This tab allows USERS to record Internal Comments, Job Ticket Text, Invoice Text and Client Export Name used for exporting data to the accounting system. Also, trading information i.e. invoicing details, account codes and sales totals summary.
More Info Tab
The ‘Alert Message Text’ feature is for pop-up messages in regards to Quotes, Orders, Despatch and Transport. There is also a Default Transport Company information area and a File Attachment area.
The Export Tab is only visible and used by the OPTO Support Team
The Statistics hyperlink displays the Dynamic Information
- Orders Tab – Displays all Production Orders and Client Orders.
- Jobs Tab – Displays all Jobs for the Clients.
- Quotes Tab – Displays all Quotes for the Clients.
- Parts Tab – Displays all Parts associated with the Clients.
- Notes Tab – Displays CRM Notes for the Clients. (Contact Relation Management)
- QMS Tab – Displays Quality Assurance Records for the Clients.
- Invoice Tab – Displays all Invoices for the Clients.
- Financial History Tab – Displays a four-year history of monthly invoices for the Clients.
