Overview
Factory Orders are sent to history after a suitable timeframe as this assists the efficiency of searching and reporting in regards to Factory orders. Sending completed aged orders to history makes the system more USER friendly. The s functions for sending Factory orders to history and both are password protected. The Process Sheet (Factory) is used to send a single order to history and only fully despatched orders are sent to history. There is a function under the Utilities drop-down on the ORDERS tab for send multiple orders to history.
Transfer a Single Factory Order to History via the Process Sheet (Factory). Go to the ORDERS tab and from the ribbon, click on the ‘Process Sheet (Factory)’ option. Enter the Factory Order number or press <F2>, select the order from the pop-up list and click on OK. Press <TAB> to generate the window, you will notice that the order is Fully Despatch and the Create Invoice is greyed out as the invoice/s have all been created. Click on the ‘Send To History’ icon.
Enter the USER’s internal employee password and press <TAB> to activate the Send icon. The Transfer Options radio buttons are greyed out and the order number is automatically entered. Click on the Send icon.
The Factory Order is sent to history – click on the Finish icon to close the window.
Send Multiple Factory Orders to history – Open the ORDERS tab on the OPTO Ribbon and select the Utilities drop-down, click on the Transfer Factory option.
Enter your internal employee password and click the Multiple Jobs radio button.
Double-click in the Jobs pane to display the list of all the fully despatched orders. Select multiple fully despatched orders and then click on the OK icon.
The selected order numbers are loaded into the Transfer to History window. There is a tick box that will ignore the picking status if required to maintain stock control. Any allocations existing for the orders will be removed once the order id sent to history. Click on the Send icon and the process runs through.
Click on the Finish icon when the process is complete.
