Overview
The Fast Despatch screen is a handy tool for despatching multiple sales orders at one time.
Users can follow the following steps to despatch orders:
Step 1
When first loading the screen, users are able to search for a range of Orders due to be desptched using the Due Date, Confirmed Status, Division, Client or Excluding a particular client.
After refreshing, the parts to be despatched will be displayed below sorted by Client and then order number. Users are then able to print or export this list (to be used as a picking list or reference).
Step 2
After searching, users are able to tick which parts from each order they would like to dispatch, enter a con note number (Required) and the quantity to dispatch.
If all rows of a particular order are blank, OPTO can assist the user with data entry by adding this information to all other lines within an order automatically after the first data is entered.
It is possible to despatch the same order across multiple dispatches by using a different con note number on the relevant lines.
Step 3
After the user is happy with the information they have input, they enter their employee number, despatch date and the despatch type.
When pressing ‘Dispatch Selected’, the user will be prompted with an option to add Dimensions, Weight, Production Order Job No or Transport Method. If the user clicks yes, OPTO will loop through each despatch and prompt the user to input these values as required.
