Overview:
OPTO has a function that enables jobs to be assigned to an employee that will be displayed in the ‘Employee Display’ window in the Workshop tab. This display window enables up to 16 employees and their assigned jobs to be displayed.
Parameter Settings – Scheduling Parameters – Tick the box “Use Employee Scheduling” and save.
Job Ticket Parameters – Tick the “(3) Show Job Cost” box and save. Ensue that this box is just a tick and not a solid box.
Step 1 – Go to the RESOURCES tab and click on “New/Edit Employee” and enter the employee code or press F2 and select from the pop-up list. Open the Emp Sched tab, tick the “Display Emp Jobs” box and enter the position to display the employee in the Employee Display window, press <F9> to save. Continue the setup for other employees.
Open the Clock Floor module and select the ‘Employee Display’ window to display the window.
Step 2 – Assign Processes on Jobs Tickets to Employees. Open the Order Book module and select the Process Sheet (Factory Order). Enter the required order number or press <F2> and select an order from the pop-up list. Press <Tab> to generate the window, select ‘View Individual Job’. The Process Summary window opens, tick the “Show Process Details” box. Enter the required employee number for each of the workcenter processes as shown below and close the window.
Open the WORKSHOP tab and select the Employee Display icon. Click on the Refresh icon to display the employees and their assigned jobs.
These jobs are also displayed on the Emp Sched tab of the Employee record. The jobs can be moved up and down in positions and these positions are also displayed in the Employee Display window.
