Overview:
Opto has the functionality to run auto-rescheduling for all jobs consecutively. The criteria for the jobs to show up in the Auto Scheduling window is that they still have job progress time left and that they have not been marked as finished when clocking off from the job.
The Auto Scheduling can be found in the following tab:
Get current Data
With the window opened, Refresh the current scheduling window:
This will then show the current jobs and their current scheduling:
Clean up current scheduling data
If the scheduling data has not been removed with fully Despatched orders, the clear function on the right side called “Clear Desp” can remove all fully despatched items within one process:
This data needs to be cleaned up before rescheduling all jobs. When right clicking on the order, you can then go to the process sheet to check details of the order:
Alternatively, you can close the Factory Order by opening the right click menu and select “Set the Status of Job to Complete” on the selected line:
The status of the Factory Order is set to complete in the background and will be removed from this list. If you want to see the Factory Order status, go to the Process Sheet of the Factory Order:
If you are confident that all Factory Orders should be closed straight away without looking at them, you can close all Factory Orders that have been Despatched at once with the “Clear Desp” process:
The “Order” column represents the priority and order of the Factory Orders. If you want to prioritise jobs, you can lock individual jobs by right clicking on them and setting them on locked, so they will not be moved:
Auto Schedule
Once the data has been cleaned up, click on the tab to Auto Scheduling and Refresh to get the data:
If you want to remove all current scheduling, ensure to press the Remove All button. This will also remove any orphan processes and orphan scheduling records.
In this screen, you can lock all jobs displayed. This means that the current jobs will always stay on top of the new jobs even if the due dates or new dates are more current. Likewise, when jobs have been locked, they can be unlocked.
You can now rearrange the orders. You can change the Order number in the “Order” column manually and the system will move the jobs up or down accordingly.
For example, if you want to have the Factory Order number with Order number 18 on top, you have to change the number 18 to number 1 and it will resort.
When you are done rearranging the Factory Orders, press the Run button to run auto-scheduling:
