Overview:
OPTO has a feature which will stop production of a part by NOT allowing single clock employees from clocking on to any jobs containing that part. USERS will need permission and an internal employee password to activate this feature.
To Enable the Production Stop Feature
From the OPTO ribbon select the ‘Inventory’ tab and click on the ‘New/Edit Parts’ icon to open the ‘Part Details’ window. In the Part Code field enter a code or press <F2> and select the part from the pop-up list, click on OK. Click in the Stop PRD box (circled below) to tick and enter your internal employee password.

Press <F9> to save.
When an employee attempts to create a new Sales/Factory Order or if they clock onto a job containing the part, an error message appears to alert the employee that production has been stopped for that job ticket.

Click on OK and close the window. The USER will need to enter their internal password to remove the production stop tick so production can resume on that part.
